"Long time no see, He-El."

Nick Fury stepped out of the dark safe house with a smile on his face, arms spread wide as though greeting an old friend he had not seen in ages.

As he emerged smiling, his casual glance at the surrounding environment made his pupils contract.

This stretch of the Himalayas had been overturned down to the very bedrock, excavated to a depth of 450 meters and forming a fan-shaped canyon. The towering cliffs on either side seemed to clamp Nick Fury between them, filling his heart with shock.

Before he entered the safe house, this place had been swept by fierce winds and snow. The sky had been a vast expanse of white; when he opened his eyes, all he could see was heavy snow and a leaden sky. Now, the sky was clear enough to reveal blue above, while enormous gray clouds had been swept far away along both sides of the fan-shaped canyon.

He-El's single strike had produced a world-destroying effect, carving out a fan-shaped canyon 450 meters deep.

Standing at the tip of the fan shape, He-El saw Nick Fury emerge, smiled, and lowered the hand he had been about to use to tear open the Vibranium safe house a second time.

Vibranium was the hardest substance in this universe, but that did not mean it could not be broken.

At least, to He-El, something that merely used Vibranium as ordinary defense was not all that durable.

"It has indeed been a long time, Nick." He-El sighed with a trace of nostalgia.

In this world, Nick Fury could be considered the person who had helped him the most.

From the very beginning, everything He-El had done revolved around Nick Fury.
