Goku carried Turtle on his back while Bulma rode the motorcycle with Mai and Ashu. He-El ran alongside them as they headed south toward the sea.
After traveling for roughly two and a half hours, He-El caught the fishy scent of seawater.
"We're almost there. The air already smells like seawater." He-El's nose twitched as he caught the scent, and his skin felt the growing moisture.
"Great, Mr. Turtle, we'll be at the coast soon!" Goku said happily.
Turtle responded with a muffled hum from Goku's back, sounding rather embarrassed. "Sorry. I must be pretty heavy, right? I've put on a little weight lately."
"Don't worry, it's no problem. It's easy," Goku said with a smile.
"I can get down and walk by myself..." Turtle suggested.
"Are you kidding? If we let you walk on your own, we wouldn't reach the coast even after a month!" Bulma cut in from her motorcycle.
The sea was so far away that without the nearly tireless Goku carrying Turtle, no one knew how long it would take Turtle to walk back to the coast.
"Yeah, yeah," Ashu and Mai echoed from behind Bulma.
Just then, a dark orange giant bear stepped from the roadside into the middle of the road, blocking their path. Its left eye was blind and scarred, its massive body was five meters tall, and it sported a mohawk. Dressed in armor with a huge cleaver hanging from its waist, it stared at Turtle with drool spilling from its mouth.
"Hehehe, brats, hand over that Turtle. I love eating turtles!" The dark orange giant bear drooled, its hulking frame giving off an intimidating presence.
Bulma, Ashu, and Mai flinched. This giant bear was far too huge and imposing.
Goku stuck his tongue out at the giant bear while carrying Turtle.
