"He-El! He-El, Goku called from Grandpa Master Roshi's place." Outside the Gravity Chamber, Bulma excitedly pressed the microphone button and held the phone up against the chamber's glass, notifying He-El of Goku's call.
"Oh! Has it already been eight months?" He-El snapped out of his training trance and realized that he had been training for eight months already.
From arriving in West City with a battle power of 37, to reaching 85 after using Emperor Pilaf's fivefold Gravity Chamber, then entering the fiftyfold Gravity Chamber researched by He-El, Bulma, and Dr. Briefs, he had adapted from five times gravity to his current eight times gravity training.
"Can Can, turn off the gravity," He-El ordered.
"Yes, Master." Rabbit Can-Can immediately moved to shut down the Gravity Chamber, but the excited Bulma beat him to it.
At once, He-El felt his body grow lighter, as though his feet were floating and he might take flight. His motor, digestive, respiratory, urinary, reproductive, endocrine, immune, nervous, and circulatory systems raced like mad, and his entire body swelled and expanded in a weightless post-gravity delusion.
He-El took a light breath and finely controlled his body. His dilated pupils refocused, the bulging veins caused by accelerated blood flow gradually calmed, and white steam of heat seeped from his flushed skin, enveloping him completely.
Like steam, white vapor blasted from every pore and shrouded his entire body.
The vapor soon dissipated, and He-El's tall body stepped out. He was no longer as exaggeratedly muscular as before. He had grown taller, yet his entire physique had become more rhythmic and dynamic. Combined with his smooth muscle lines, he looked more beautiful than his former overdeveloped build, like a work of art. Bulma's face turned as red as a monkey's butt at the sight.
