Nick Fury's face darkened terrifyingly.

No one was more shocked than he was.

He had guarded against every possible threat precisely to protect the Cosmic Cube and prevent S.H.I.E.L.D. from being infiltrated by Loki.

Now, seeing the Triskelion covered in densely packed red dots without a single gap, Nick Fury truly felt like rolling his eyes back and passing out.

He had no idea when the entirety of S.H.I.E.L.D. had been taken under control.

S.H.I.E.L.D. had fallen again.

And this time, Loki's control was far more severe than Hydra's had been.

Hydra was human, after all, and it had at least needed S.H.I.E.L.D. Hydra would never completely destroy S.H.I.E.L.D.; it had been more or less like a civil war.

But Loki was different.

Loki was an alien, Asgard's God of Mischief and God of Evil. He had previously activated the Rainbow Bridge in an attempt to destroy Earth outright.

Nick Fury's heart had already turned ice-cold. He could imagine it.

Once Loki controlled everyone in S.H.I.E.L.D., what would he do? He would do anything without restraint!

His identity and position allowed him to act without restraint or concern.

Almost instantly, Nick Fury guessed why Loki had kept everyone in S.H.I.E.L.D. under control without immediately destroying S.H.I.E.L.D.

Was he waiting for He-El to come...

Nick Fury's trembling gaze shifted toward He-El.

"Loki!" Thor gripped Mjolnir and rose from his seat, staring at Hill as he shouted in alarm and disbelief.

Seeing everyone react so intensely, Bruce Banner hurriedly got to his feet as well, shoved his chair aside, and retreated several steps, leaving the battlefield to them.
