Cleaning Up the Battlefield

Ebony Maw had already given up resisting.

As Thanos's strategic adviser, he was familiar with all manner of technology and science across countless universes. Faced with the lightning, fire, matter, gravity, and space created by He-El's five fingers, there was simply no point in resisting.

Even using the Mind Scepter at maximum output, he might not have been able to defeat a lightning energy giant that magnetically confined positrons and electrons.

While he could draw unlimited energy from the Mind Scepter, and that energy was indeed limitless, controlling the extracted energy required psychic power.

The energy was unlimited, but his mind was not.

To deal with such a powerful lightning giant formed by magnetically confined positrons and electrons, the impacts caused merely by collisions between fundamental energy particles would have been enough to kill him from the shockwaves.

Not to mention that there were four more energy giants on the other side, each even stronger than the lightning giant.

Ebony Maw's golden giant gradually began to dissipate. Surrounded by lightning, fire, matter, gravity, and space, it turned into specks of golden light that drifted upward.

Ebony Maw was in an even worse state than Loki.

At least Loki had controlled the Mind Scepter and spent more than half a year hiding among humans, developing a series of psychic abilities that had seemed advantageous.

Of course, Ebony Maw knew everything Loki knew, but none of it could truly deal with He-El's five giants.

Unless Ebony Maw could wield the Mind Scepter and reach the level of turning mental illusions into reality, he might have been able to contend with them. Clearly, though, he had not reached such an advanced level.

After holding the Mind Scepter for less than ten minutes, Ebony Maw suffered a mental collapse and knelt on the ground,
