Ya Li was an orphan from a slum in her previous life. After joining Yun Ming, she entered Shrek Academy with him. 175

In her current life, Ya Li belongs to a collateral branch of the Angel clan. Qian Daoliu accepted her as his disciple and largely raised her as a granddaughter, granting her access to the Angel’s Tomb despite her inability to inherit the traditional Angel title. There, she absorbed the origins left by previous Angel Douluo to reinforce her Angel of Hope Spirit. 83
