Background / History
Tang San entered Shrek Academy alongside Xiao Wu and Ning Rongrong. During the final assessment, he faced Xiao Wu and Ning Rongrong together; despite using Blue Silver Grass, hidden weapons, and his movement techniques, he was defeated by Xiao Wu’s Bewitch and Waist Bow abilities while Ning Rongrong supported her with the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda. All three were admitted to Shrek afterward 42.
Following conflicts involving Tang Hao and the Breaking Clan, Tang San defended his father while clashing ideologically with Yun Ming. He blamed the Spirit Hall for his family’s suffering, whereas Yun Ming focused on Tang Hao’s past actions and their consequences 98 99. When Tang Hao’s Soul Bones were demanded, Tang San agreed to remove them himself to prevent further damage to his father’s body 102.
Tang San awoke from a week-long coma to learn of Tang Hao’s death. He resolved to pursue strength, win the Soul Master Competition, and seek Soul Bones for revenge 104. Later, he secretly traveled to the waterfall described in Tang Hao’s final instructions, survived the Tang Sect mechanisms within, and found A Yin’s location. By absorbing the hundred-thousand-year Blue Silver Emperor right leg bone, he recovered from his injuries and cleansed his damaged Blue Silver Grass Spirit 135.
After being arrested for his actions against the Canghui and Blue Sunshine Academy teams, Tang San admitted under mental pressure that he had deliberately caused the Canghui team’s Soul Skills to backfire, reducing them to idiots. He also admitted attacking Blue Sunshine Academy after they insulted and threatened him 143. Yun Ming subsequently crippled both of Tang San’s Spirits—the Clear Sky Hammer and Blue Silver Grass—leaving him unconscious and gravely injured 145 146.
A Yin later restored Tang San’s Spirit at the cost of her own life. His reawakened Blue Silver Emperor bloodline granted him a new Spirit, a congenital Blue Silver Domain, and unusually high-aged Soul Rings 154 155. He then joined Thunder Academy under the name Tang Yin, continuing to pursue a rematch with Yun Ming 152 158.
After Tang Xiao’s death and the destruction of the Clear Sky Sect, Tang San vowed to kill Yun Ming. He departed Heaven Dou City with Xiao Wu, cultivated at the Lake of Life, and later sought a second Domain through Slaughter City 194 195 216. His later divine path included the Sea God trials, failure of the Sea God inheritance, and eventual completion of the Shura Ninth Trial, through which he became the Shura God 355 368.
Appearance
Tang San’s appearance changes drastically after the awakening of his Blue Silver Emperor bloodline. He is described afterward as a tall, handsome young man with blue hair and a blue-gold Blue Silver Emperor Spirit 154 168 257.
- Possesses a blue-gold Blue Silver Emperor Spirit 168.

Personality
Tang San is deeply loyal to his family and sect. He repeatedly acts to protect Tang Hao, Tang Xiao, and the Clear Sky Sect, even seeking aid from Yu Xiaogang despite privately holding him in contempt 99 168. The deaths of Tang Hao, A Yin, and Tang Xiao intensify his determination to pursue revenge against Yun Ming and the Spirit Hall 104 154 194.
He is resilient after extreme setbacks. Although the destruction of his Spirits leaves him despondent, he recovers after receiving Tang Xiao’s analysis and training guidance 146 158. His revenge-driven mentality also makes him volatile and willing to take severe risks, particularly in battle against Yun Ming 156.
Tang San is highly critical of Yu Xiaogang’s competence and character. He views his teacher’s cultivation, theories, and judgment harshly, yet maintains a respectful outward relationship when he requires Yu Xiaogang’s assistance 143 168 194.
