Background

Wu Tong is a transmigrator whose awakened Body Martial Soul is his Brain. Soul Power enhanced the organ's information-processing capacity, intelligence, memory, and comprehension, leading him to pursue a deliberately engineered form of “heaven-defying comprehension.” 3 6

He selected the Mind's Eye Golden Fox as his first Spirit Ring target because its abilities suited his Brain Martial Soul. Rather than accept conventional absorption limits, he relied on research into physical constitution and spiritual power, then absorbed a 500-year ring. The hunt also yielded the infinitely growing head-type External Soul Bone, Mind's Eye. 10 12

After joining the Dimensional Chat Group, he chose “Seeker of the Dao” as his nickname. The name expresses both self-encouragement and his aspiration toward mythic beings whose legends are reflected throughout the Myriad Realms. 30

Appearance

During his first Soul Hunting Forest expedition, Wu Tong wore a custom black outfit tightly wrapped from head to toe, with a hood and cloth pouches of iron components tied to both legs. 9

  • Reported physical data lists him at 180 cm tall, 120 weight units, healthy, with 5.3 vision. 37
  • At age twelve, group members described him as eight chi tall. 50
  • His Mind's Eye manifests as glowing lines between his brows when activated. 13 14

Personality

Wu Tong is analytical, patient, and highly deliberate. He researches Spirit Beasts, cultivation methods, technologies, and unfamiliar systems before acting, often turning acquired knowledge into long-term advantages. 6 7 274

He values practical security and influence. His early pursuit of wealth, allies, reputation, and improved cultivation systems stems from a desire to protect himself in a dangerous world. 7 17 21

Despite his ambition, he is notably lazy when systems or subordinates can perform work for him. Once the Multiverse Expedition Plan is operational, he celebrates that Douluo World's development can continue without his constant attention. 313 610
