Background / History
Lumine awakens near Guyun Stone Forest with no memory of being sealed by a god. Her former ability to travel between worlds is almost entirely inaccessible, leaving her stranded in the wilderness with only technical skills and unusual environmental endurance. She meets Paimon and reluctantly accepts her as a guide, beginning a journey toward Liyue. 216
After Lumine and Paimon drift onto a remote island and become trapped at sea, Lin Feng finds them before they can wander toward the Dark Sea. He brings them to Liyue Harbor, where Lumine explains that she had previously been stranded on a deserted island and fished Paimon from the sea. 239 240
Grateful for Lin Feng’s rescue, information, and food, Lumine accepts his offer to become a specially appointed researcher of the Sumeru Akademiya. Her work centers on exploring ruins and domains, recovering texts and key items, and operating in high-elemental-energy environments that ordinary scholars cannot safely enter. 240
At the Statue of the Seven near Liyue Harbor, Lumine discovers that she can resonate with a statue to obtain the associated element, awakening Geo power. This allows her to meet the Akademiya’s requirements while opening a new path toward rebuilding her combat ability. 241
Her early research work includes investigating Guili Plains and recovering a golden scale connected to the Geo Dragon King. During this mission, Tartaglia challenges her; Lumine defeats him with an unexpectedly destructive Dendro-assisted attack, then restrains the surrounding elemental power rather than allowing it to finish him. 249 250 251
Lumine continues training under Lin Feng, who identifies major gaps in her elemental combat habits. She later travels to Mondstadt, awakens Anemo power at Windrise, and begins learning how to incorporate multiple elements into her fighting style. 254 351
In Mondstadt, Lumine and Onigiri pass Andrius’s trial through coordinated combat. A later attempt at the trial’s fully activated, god-oriented projection ends in immediate defeat despite the strength granted by Albedo’s Elemental Amplification Device. 394 407
Seeking information about her brother, Lumine travels to Inazuma as an Akademiya special envoy. There, she becomes involved in the nation’s bureaucracy, Fatui schemes, the Vision Hunt conflict, and a direct confrontation with the Raiden Shogun. She escapes Tenshukaku with Paimon and Thoma by activating a teleportation bracelet, leaving her weapons behind. 461 468 481
A group calling itself a newly formed Resistance intercepts Lumine and Paimon, bringing them to Enkanomiya and asking Lumine to lead them. Although uneasy with their excessive reverence and attempted use of the title “Princess,” she begins reviewing their personnel and support capabilities rather than immediately accepting their assumptions. 486 491
During Inazuma’s Abyss invasion, Lumine discovers she can drain the power from Abyssal Gates. After the battle causes severe casualties, she uses her Divine Power Crystal to pray to Sumeru’s gods for aid, triggering a miracle that restores the land, heals the injured, and enables the dead to undergo a recovery ritual. 537 547
Appearance
Lumine is a young woman with brilliant golden hair, amber eyes, strange attire, and a small white flower worn in her hair. 216
- Golden-haired and amber-eyed. 216
- Wears a small white flower in her hair. 216
- Her appearance and clothing are unfamiliar to ordinary residents of Teyvat. 216
- Can manifest light-blue Anemo wings while using amplified Anemo power. 469
Personality
Lumine is practical, restrained, and observant. She is suspicious of unfamiliar people and institutions, particularly gods, because her last clear experience before awakening involved an unknown deity sealing both her and her brother. 241
She dislikes owing others and repeatedly seeks ways to repay Lin Feng for the help he provides. This sense of reciprocity is why she accepts research work and dangerous commissions rather than remaining dependent on him. 240 263
Although Paimon is easily persuaded by food, rewards, or flattery, Lumine tends to assess danger before acting. She detects hostile intent quickly, notices political manipulation in Inazuma, and remains wary even when apparent allies offer generous treatment. 249 468 486
Lumine is also compassionate. She worries about civilian casualties, spares Tartaglia after defeating him, and attempts to save those harmed in Inazuma’s Abyss invasion rather than treating victory as sufficient. 250 537 547
Abilities & Skills
Sealed Traveler Physiology
Even with most of her original power inaccessible, Lumine retains abilities beyond those of ordinary people.

- Retains reliable speed, strength, agility, defense, and physical endurance. 241 344
- Survives powerful hits from Andrius and counterattacks effectively. 394
- Her original power enabled interworld travel before it was sealed. 216
Geo Elemental Power
Lumine gains Geo power by resonating with the Geo Archon’s Statue of the Seven. 241
- Creates defensive shields against elemental attacks. 344
- Forms rock spikes and patterned Geo constructs around targets. 254
- Compresses and remotely detonates Geo constructs for heavy damage. 254
- Uses Geo-infused weapon attacks in close combat. 394
- Her constructs become vastly larger while supported by the Elemental Amplification Device. 407
Anemo Elemental Power

- Can use Anemo to gather enemies and address her lack of area-of-effect options. 349
- Her Anemo power strengthens her Geo power. 351
- Can manifest wing-like Anemo constructs during high-output amplified combat. 407 469
- Has difficulty controlling multiple elements at once and is advised to master each separately first. 351
Abyssal Power Absorption
During the Abyss invasion, Lumine discovers an affinity for the power sustaining certain Abyssal Gates. 537
- Draws out the ownerless power maintaining the gates, allowing her to neutralize them when ordinary Elemental Power is ineffective. 537
- Experiences no immediate physical discomfort after absorption. 537
- Feels an unexplained urge to consume more Abyssal Power, creating a potential risk. 537
Combat Instinct and Adaptability
Lumine’s combat style combines close-quarters skill, elemental constructs, equipment, and rapid tactical adjustment.
- Defeats a Ruin Guard with a gifted short sword. 248
- Recognizes hostile intent and assesses an opponent’s threat level quickly. 249
- Defeats Tartaglia despite being newly awakened and far from her former strength. 250

- Withstands repeated attacks from the Raiden Shogun by cycling through weapons and defensive items. 481
- Lin Feng theorizes that her strength may surge in decisive moments by drawing on the convictions of others; this remains his observation rather than a confirmed ability. 351
