Background

Lin Feng transmigrated into Teyvat wearing clothes from his previous life and awakened in Sumeru’s rainforest. He recognized the region from his prior knowledge of the game but had no idea where in the vastly larger real-world Sumeru he had arrived. His appearance remained largely similar to his former teenage self. 1

After inspecting his own System panel, he discovered that Teyvat did not classify him as human. His Stat Modifier was bound to his consciousness, while his body functioned as its power source; this distinction later allowed him to alter another person’s traits and afflictions. 3 40
