Background / History

Xiao Wu arrives at Nuoding Junior Soul Master Academy as part of the dormitory’s group of children. Under the dormitory’s rule that newcomers must fight for rank, she is already recognized as its leader. She takes offense when the withdrawn newcomer Xiao dismisses the commotion around him and appears to look down on her. 1

When Wang Ze, the leader of the older students, defeats several members of Xiao Wu’s group, she is left searching for a way to respond. She initially notices Tang San approaching, hoping he will help, but ultimately calls on Xiao to represent the dormitory in the challenge. 1
