Fu Jian wearily set down the document in his hand.
Even after taking the latest pills Wang Jixuan had sent over, staying awake for days and nights on end had pushed Fu Jian's brain beyond its limits.
He had to rest for a few hours now.
If the Terror Mech Pilots stationed at D2 were insufficient later, he might have to head to the front lines himself. He needed to recover to full condition.
"Commander-in-Chief," a staff officer beside him asked, "there's one more Online Meeting. Would you like to join? It's ready."
Fu Jian yawned. "What's it about?"
"Commander-in-Chief of D2 initiated it. A general front-line dispatch meeting."
"Connect me. Push back the later meetings for now."
"Yes."
A Projection Screen popped out from Fu Jian's Mechanical Arm. He raised a hand and operated it twice, administering a little stimulant to his brain.
The lights ahead shifted, and a virtual meeting room formed through holographic projection. Fu Jian and the commanders-in-chief of two other war zones appeared in the seats of honor.
The sand table before them displayed densely packed information.
In the upper-left corner of the meeting room, a blood-red index ticked upward from 87% to 88%.
Commander-in-Chief of D2 cursed with a hoarse laugh:
"Those bastard Blade Beasts. Their awakening level hadn't increased for the past three days. I thought the Pillar-Class Blade Beast had been suppressed by the Sleeping Circuit again.
"Who would've thought it'd start climbing again?"
Commander-in-Chief of D4 said, "The underground blasting has had poor results. The places where the Pillar-Class Blade Beasts sleep are at least five or six thousand meters below the surface. The Sixth Pillar is surrounded by an enormous number of Blade Beasts, and even more are burrowing up from underground. They've been breeding continuously all these years."
