Background / History

Marymana and Miranda Atlin were close friends before either became a mage. Marymana was later accepted as Goodmel Heron’s apprentice within the Circle of White Birds Society, while Miranda joined the Golden Scales; their contact gradually became limited to correspondence as their magical attainments grew. Marymana regretted that Miranda had not joined the Circle with her. 91

When Li Wen arrived on the Taranis Sky Continent claiming to be Miranda’s apprentice, Marymana received her warmly but carefully questioned her about Miranda’s six-month absence during a Stage Five advancement attempt.
