Background

The Wilson family had secretly followed the Blood Desire Church for generations, preserving its bloodline-focused rites. Wilson's father, Captain Petrie Wilson, reportedly rejected the family's doctrines, became a distinguished soldier, and earned recognition from the Queen. Petrie's former adjutant claimed that Wilson's birth coincided with his mother's death and Petrie's subsequent decline from a mysterious illness. 76

After reaching adulthood, Wilson allegedly murdered Petrie, imprisoned his father's adjutant before the crime could be exposed, and inherited control of the Black Dragon Territory. He continued the family's rituals by disappearing servants and attendants for sacrifice, then expanded his supply of victims beyond the mansion. 76

Wilson employed mercenaries to massacre villagers while concealing his own involvement. He also sealed Wilson Town and Castle from outside interference, forced his father's adjutant to drink his blood, and intended to use him as the first victim of the completed ritual. 67 77

Wilson initially presents himself as a grotesquely obese nobleman in luxurious clothes, with an appearance compared to a diseased, flattened toad. His Crimson Feast repeatedly remakes his body into progressively less human forms. 78 83

Li Wen learns from surviving mercenaries that Wilson arranged their crimes and travels to Wilson Town to investigate. There she finds a population that sincerely and fanatically praises him, alongside public sacrificial practices involving a willow effigy and animal-masked townsfolk. 66 68 72

The Grand Rite

Wilson gathers Players, Transcendents, and Investigation Bureau personnel as “guests” for the Crimson Feast. Once the feast begins, the hall's luxurious facade transforms into a slaughterhouse, and the guests' health begins to drain into his ritual goblet. 74 79

Crimson Feast battle and death

Wilson survives repeated attacks through flesh transformation, stolen identities, body control, and ritual blood. Each death strengthens him, allowing him to approach a near-divine state and trap the surviving fighters within the hall. 81 83 84

Xion's Candle of Cherished Light leaves Wilson critically wounded. Li Wen then afflicts him with Craving Light, destroys his hope of rebirth by revealing that his backup ritual is gone, and kills him with Spell-less Arc Light and the Crow Feather Dagger. 85 86
