At Buzhou Mountain, she spent a prolonged period in seclusion contemplating the Dao of Creation. Her garden served as a place of experimentation, containing strange hybrid animals and plants created through her attempts to understand life's evolution. 30 31

When Bai Jin showed her a clay sculpture of a Horned Wolf and remarked that it would be better if it were alive, Nuwa realized that her path required the transition from death to life. She immediately completed her Saintly Dao and began using the Qiankun Cauldron and Breathing Soil to create living beings. 31
