A Bloodstained Kite in the Night Sky
Thick fog, barren land.
Thatched hut, flickering lamp, dim firelight.
The scene before me was utterly extraordinary.
Qin Ming stared at the dim, Human-Shaped Lantern, his heart trembling. It looked just like Old Man Liu!
How could this be? A small village in a remote place and Kunling, which is associated with myths and legends, should have no connection or overlap.
Qin Ming thought it was probably just a coincidence that they looked alike.
How could Old Man Liu, a simple countryman, possibly leave any trace here?
Wu Yaozu walked forward, and suddenly, the flickering lamp went out, and the thatched hut became indistinct.
"Hmm, a virtual scene?" He stopped in his tracks.
Qin Ming was surprised. Everything had seemed so real, so why was it suddenly about to vanish?
He took two steps forward, and in an instant, the dilapidated hut reappeared, the flickering lamp was relit, and everything became clear again.
The two looked at each other, wondering if this place was both real and unreal.
The Little Wu continued forward, and then the scenery suddenly dimmed again.
Qin Ming sensed something, and the moment he took a step forward, everything became clearly visible.
"What kind of lousy place is this? They're treating me differently, they're even discriminating against me!" Little Wu was very dissatisfied.
"Ming Ge, you walk ahead." He was very considerate and followed behind.
Sure enough, as the two continued on their way, even touching the thatched huts and the dimly lit lanterns, the scenery did not disappear.
Little Wu's eyes changed, and he said, "Ming Ge, you said I'm a ' Forbidden-Land Scion,' you wouldn't happen to be my neighbor, some kind of ' Baleful-Land Scion,' would you?"
He found it too eerie; the scenery here seemed to recognize people.
Qin Ming remained silent, carefully observing everything around him.
The thatched hut was old, but far from being rotten. Given the material it was made of, it must have been built before it had been subjected to long periods of erosion and decay.
"This Evil Land and thick fog. All kinds of evil spirits here are extremely harmful to the body. Who has ever lived in seclusion here?" Qin Ming felt that this place was not suitable for long-term residence at all.
Inside the thatched hut, there was an old desk with paper and ink on it, which were not covered in dust, suggesting that the owner had just left not long ago.
Qin Ming immediately stepped forward and examined it carefully.
He didn't recognize the characters on the paper; they resembled Phoenix Seal Script, which was quite complex and belonged to an exceptionally ancient script.
However, the spiritual imprint remains, directly shining through the paper, allowing people to understand its meaning.
"Returning to the mortal world, I know not when, for the unheard-of the Wu Dynasty has already reached its end..."
Qin Ming was lost in thought. Was this calligraphy from the late Wu Dynasty? Clearly, it was over five hundred years ago!
If you calculate it that way, the thatched hut has actually been around for quite a while, and despite being made of easily decayed materials, it hasn't rotted yet.
"Ming Ge, there's blood on the back of the lantern. Is it really made of paper?" Little Wu reached out and touched it, finding that although the paper lantern was as thin as a cicada's wing, it had a very delicate feel, almost like leather.
He recoiled as if electrocuted.
"May Grandma live a long and blessed life!" Wu Yaozu murmured.
Qin Ming arrived at the door and carefully examined the Human-Shaped Lantern. It was younger than Old Man Liu, mainly because its hair was jet black and its face was ruddy, unlike Old Liu looked so weathered.
The bloodstained area was on "Old Man Liu's" back, where there was a crack resembling a cicada's shell, with dark, black bloodstains.
After reading it, Qin Ming went back into the thatched hut to examine the Phoenix Seal Script on the straw paper.
"Outside the Jade Capital, I was astonished to see Seven-Day Stacker lingering about."
Qin Ming was truly shocked when he saw this.
Now that the New Life Path has come to an end, techniques such Tathagata Force and Jade Clarity Force Six Royal Force, and thus stop there, making further expansion difficult.
The expansion of the Beyond the Mundane has not stopped; theoretically, it has already reached the initial stage of the seven-day superposition layer, but it is quite difficult to implement, and it seems that only a few old monsters have taken one step in.
Five hundred years ago, there were already those Seven-Day Stacker?
Qin Ming was deeply moved and quickly continued reading.
"Seven days have passed in a row, and the magnificent CD player has dispelled the Night Mist Sea. The grand spectacle of the Eight-Day Sky-Crossing is not far off!" The commenter was quite surprised.
Qin Ming and Little Wu looked at each other, both deeply shocked.
It should be noted that the Seven Control Force of the World have not yet appeared, and the state of seven days stacked together is still being verified and explored; there is no complete form yet.
In fact, this should have been the case in ancient times as well.
Because those who possess the Six Royal Force, and those Six-Day Stacker, are already capable of transforming into Godlike beings or Near-Immortal- immortals.
This "transformation" is dramatic and transformative!
You could even say that doing this is equivalent to taking a different path.
From human to god, from human to immortal, it can almost be said that this is a transformation of species.
Some people are willing to take this path, but some Ancestor strongly resist it and are unwilling to go down it, believing that the road they came from is not yet over and they should not leave their own clan.
"Modern people surpass the Ancient Sage. If those Seven Days Superimposed Perfection Expert were to become gods, to what level would they transform?" The person who left the letter seemed deeply moved.
Qin Ming turned the page; there were more Seal Script on the back, seemingly notes casually made by the local owner.
"This..." Little Wu was also shocked, because the level mentioned by the writer was a field that they could not currently access.
The text briefly mentions that although they are all Godlike beings, there are great differences between them. For example, the Night Wanderer God is actually called the Insignificant God by the local master.
The handwriting on the paper was strong and vigorous, but the notes were rather scattered.
He also mentioned the Earth God, and even spoke of the Heavenly God, especially the latter, whose achievements were incredibly astonishing and terrifying.
According to what is written on the paper, a great achiever must have gone very far on the original path.
At the same time, he also drew a parallel, clearly pointing out that there are also Insignificant Immortal on the Immortal Path who are not strong enough.
The paper also mentions Earth Immortal, as well as those with higher attainments, such as celestial Heavenly Immortal who dwell in Grotto-Heaven.
"Looking at later generations, those who came after them Near-Immortal but did not become immortals. In the end, Truth Seeking, and their path was correct. They had even greater courage than the Ancient Sage."
The local inhabitants were both surprised and pleased by the changes that followed.
According to the person who left the inscription, the further one goes down this path, the greater the achievement will be when one ultimately transforms into a god or an immortal.
In particular, he was even more excited when he saw that in later generations, some people had actually reached the height of nearly Eight-Day Stacking on this route.
"Among these two types of beings, gods and immortals, only those who achieve great things can still forge ahead. Those who are Insignificant God or Insignificant Immortal have various problems and remain stagnant throughout their lives."
The notes became somewhat hasty towards the end, revealing the mood of the place's owner.
"In this life, though I have a path to follow, I constantly think of the road I came from and wish to return to my original self." When the Seal Script reached this point, one could imagine the turbulent emotions in the heart of the local resident.
Qin Ming almost collapsed to the ground after only a slight resonance, suffering a severe shock.
He didn't delve any deeper, because there was no additional information, only a literal continuation of the emotion, albeit a more intense one.
Upon reading this, how could the two not know how high the status and position of the cottage owner was?
"This must be an Old God or Ancient Immortal!" Wu Yaozu exclaimed excitedly.
The notes were not yet finished. Later, it was written that the local master, upon careful observation, determined that those who had achieved the perfect seven-day accumulation came from the depths of the Night Mist World and were not from this territory.
The extraordinary outsider, along with several disciples, was accidentally stranded here due to a terrible Divine Magnetic Storm and is actively searching for a way home.
From this perspective, the Night Mist World is truly vast and boundless; even beings like gods and immortals probably haven't explored its limits.
However, this is understandable. After all, many of the Grandmaster Level figures of our time do not value immortality, believing they are already on par with it, and they all have their own confidence.
Even if the Ancestor never reach the end of their exploration, and even if Ancient God and Old Immortal surpass them, it won't be too outrageous.
Little Wu pondered, then said, "Deep within the Night Mist World, there can't be a more expansive kingdom or a more magnificent cultivation system than ours, can there?"
Qin Ming remained silent, turned the page, and continued reading.
"Whenever there is lament, even Heavenly God and Heavenly Immortal are like kites with broken strings, easily lost in the vast night sea, facing the calamity of falling bloodied, all are subject to their lifespan!"
These words left Qin Ming momentarily stunned. The deeper one thought about them, the more terrifying they became, and the more chilling they felt!
"I wish to find my original path and return to my original self!" This intense longing, conveyed through the paper, has not faded even after five hundred years.
Little Wu asked suspiciously, "It's understandable that the original paths of the Old God and Ancient Immortal changed, but with the evolution of species, their bodies are vastly different from before. What exactly do gods and immortals look like?"
"The agony of being skinned alive, the pain of having bones removed, is unbearable even for gods. Pain, pain..."
The words were stained with blood. The local owner was very decisive and ruthless to himself; he wanted to regain his human form and was willing to "kill himself."
"Ming Ge, do you think the paper lanterns outside that look like human figures are his skin?" Little Wu asked.
Qin Ming did not respond, staring blankly at the hastily written words at the end.
"Stained with blood, I ride the wind back to meet my original self." These words were almost completely covered in blood, but were still faintly visible.
All of these combined sent a chill down Qin Ming's spine, because it was quite similar to the kite theory of the Hidden Family Li Family family.
This person is gone. Even if he was once Heavenly God, will he eventually fall to the ground like Bloodstained Kite?
Qin Ming went to look at the Human-Shaped Lantern again. Was it just a coincidence that it resembled someone from the past, or was it related to that old friend?
Upon closer examination, many of these points don't match up; this is an ancient story from five hundred years ago.
Moreover, this person must be an extraordinary deity or Old Immortal.
Old Man Liu over seventy years old, but his birth date doesn't match.
His life was full of hardships. He wandered in the snow and ice as a child, did not know who his parents were, and almost froze to death. After suffering from amnesia due to a serious illness, he wandered to Double Tree Village and was adopted by someone. He was plagued by bad luck throughout his life and missed several opportunities to change his fate. New Life only three times in his old age.
Moreover, his eventual New Life was also thanks to Qin Ming.
"I regret it. It's too difficult for gods and immortals to return to being human, let alone Higher God. This is a life-threatening ordeal. I'll record this experience. Only those who share good karma with me can enter this place."
Upon seeing this, Little Wu's eyes widened. She leaned closer, carefully examining Qin Ming and comparing him to the Human-Shaped Lantern, and said, "Ming Ge, could this be your past life?"
"What are you thinking!" Qin Ming shoved him away.
The notes here also mention that behind the hut, some "things" were left for later visitors, which should be taken with caution.
The words on this paper subtly suggest that the area behind the hut is unusual, connected to a legendary place.
"The road of humanity is not yet over; we must forge ahead with determination. Do not hastily seek to become a god, for even Heavenly Immortal would not be worth it... Escaping from the Jade Capital is no easy feat..."
This is the last paragraph, somewhat fragmented, and the local host hastily put down his pen, thus ending the discussion.
