Classification and Rank

Earth Immortals are among the highest-tier beings active in the current age. They are generally placed at least in the Mid-Seventh Realm and may reach the late Seventh Realm; their appearance is treated as an event capable of alarming patriarchs and Grandmasters. 319 380

The title describes a transformed cultivation state rather than every being with comparable combat power. Seven-Day Stackers can reach the Seventh Realm without changing their life forms, while a person described as “Earth Immortal-level” need not necessarily have undergone Earth Immortal transformation. Becoming a Seven-Day Stacker is regarded as considerably harder than becoming an Earth Immortal. 354 468

Their apparent supremacy is partly a consequence of the age’s environmental restrictions. Complete Heavenly Gods and Heavenly Immortals are not normally active in the Present World, and decayed higher beings may display power little different from Earth Immortals. Even Eight-Day Accumulators are restricted to barely crossing the environmental limit and slightly exceeding Earth Immortal-level power. 437 731 787

Immortal Transformation

Becoming an Earth Immortal changes a cultivator’s life form and may lock in their future potential. Earth Immortals usually cannot retain a normal human form when seriously wounded or forced to reveal their true bodies. 470 476

• True forms can be enormous, grotesque, and radically unlike their former appearances. 470
• Their bodies possess overwhelming vitality and can endure damage that would destroy lower-realm cultivators. 470
• The transformation is a major obstacle to later advancement, making the path to Heavenly Immortal or Eighth Realm extraordinarily difficult. 476 722
• A human-looking exterior does not necessarily indicate retention of an original human body. Nian Songhe and Xiao Qingheng initially appeared as ethereal human immortals before their monstrous forms were exposed. 468 470
• Reversing the transformation is possible in exceptional circumstances. The Black White Bear spent five hundred years changing its blood and transforming until its life form had reversed, leaving it no longer a pure Earth Immortal or Earth God. 470

Some transformed beings regret abandoning their original paths. One Earth Immortal’s discarded skin and excavated Immortal Bones were associated with an attempt to change fate rather than remain beneath Heavenly Immortals. Such ambition was described as characteristic of the extraordinary resolve required to reach Earth Immortality in the first place. 319 320

Immortal Light and Overwhelming Pressure

Earth Immortals can radiate Immortal Light and pressure powerful enough to freeze consciousness, suppress lesser cultivators, and disturb entire regions. 362 468

• The descent of four Earth Immortals into Rui City covered the capital in seven-colored Immortal Light and compelled the Great Rui royal family to submit. 468
• An Earth Immortal “passing through” caused Golden Light Cave to shake, drained a Super Fire Spring, and forced nearby patriarchs to disperse their Pure Yang consciousnesses rather than approach. 362
• Earth Immortal battles can illuminate the sky like multiple scorching suns; their blood, flesh, and bones may fall over cities as either lethal hazards or valuable refining materials. 472
• Even distant Masters could not clearly observe the Earth Immortals fighting above Night Prefecture; looking directly at their blazing figures caused tears to stream from their eyes. 472
• Their casual attacks can threaten cities and powerful clans. Earth Immortals exploring the Longevity Tomb also collapsed nearby mountain peaks with their roars and left broad fissures across the land. 399 618

Pure Yang Consciousness and Residual Incarnations

Destroying an Earth Immortal’s body does not necessarily end the threat immediately. Their Pure Yang consciousness, blood, and discarded remains can retain terrifying persistence. 308 470

• Earth Immortal Blood from the sealed Immortal Grave attempted to form a new incarnation after the main body was suppressed. 308
• Blood droplets could create small mounds and “life seeds,” requiring the survivors to destroy every remnant before rebirth could occur. 308
• A discarded sheet of Earth Immortal skin retained resentment, pursued travelers, invaded dreams, and drained Essence, Qi, and Spirit. 320

Earth Immortal bloodlines can bestow extraordinary potential upon descendants, though such inherited power may not be compatible with every cultivation method. 358

• Xie Lin’s Earth Immortal bloodline forcibly enhanced his Dao aura and Consciousness Spirit Light, pushing him toward the Enlightenment Realm. 358

Flight and Divine Abilities

Earth Immortals can travel through the night sky in their physical bodies, tearing passages through clouds and mist at terrifying speed. Unlike lower-realm cultivators, they can completely sever the invisible restraint produced by the force above the firmament and the ground’s attraction, which is especially strong near Super Fire Springs. 468 524

Their techniques vary by lineage and individual rather than forming a single universal repertoire. 398 713

• Earth Immortals defending Earthen City jointly employed immortal swords, golden Great Hand Seals, Phoenix Seal Scripts, and other immortal arts against a decayed Heavenly God’s attack. 398
• Heaven and Earth Manifestation allows suitable practitioners to assume immensely enlarged battle forms. It was used by an Earth Immortal-level demon from the Outer Domain and by the Peak Earth Immortal of the Primordial Yellow Dao Field. 473 713
• The Primordial Yellow Earth Immortal combined his manifestation with hundreds of lightning bolts, a Heavenly Saber, and a domain of spells, though none could overcome the Golden Figure. 713

Treasures and Formations

Earth Immortals wield powerful treasures and formations, but such equipment is not uniform across the rank. Their resources may include lineage weapons, protective Dao Chains, killing arrays, and treasures refined from Blessed Lands. 468 740 758

• Mu Qinghe used a painted scroll depicting Jade Capital, while another Earth Immortal wielded a miniature divine-jade Jade Capital City. These instruments released devastating tribulation light during the pursuit of Yuheng and Mo Yuan. 399
• Dao Chains carried by the Four Great Earth Immortals sealed their auras and temporarily protected their true bodies from a hostile environment. 468
• A high-status old Earth Immortal transformed a treasure refined from a Blessed Land into a spacious Dao arena containing Spirit Mountains, Purple Bamboo Forests, an Immortal Lake, and pavilions. 740

• The Yin-Yang Soul-Fixing Coin immobilized multiple Earth Immortals by locking down their Mental Fields and Lights of the Mind; Qin Ming then beheaded one with his Heaven-Cutting True Form saber.
