• Qin Ming entered the Divine Magnetic Storm with Old Cloth and watched a cloaked woman, a little old man, and Qi Wang escape their pursuers through the storm into unfamiliar lands.
• Qin Ming arrived in Great Qin, explored Jade City, heard rumors about the Six Great Sages, and recognized a statue whose jade armor reminded him of a mysterious Lineage, so he left the region.
• Qin Ming roamed from place to place as a wandering swordsman, killed bandits and demons, and improved his Primal Chaos Golden Bridge and Myriad Aperture Illumination Art while traveling.
• Qin Ming traced a network of criminals to an orthodox sect that supported bandits and demons, killed its Grandmaster and many members, and reaffirmed his resolve to fight injustice.
• Qin Ming passed through many Mist Gates, avoided lingering at a Joyous Union Sect stronghold, and entered the territory of the Mysterious Maiden Palace, intending to visit Jiang Ran.

Qin Ming investigated the Mysterious Maiden Palace’s decline, learned Jiang Zai had likely gone to the Primordial Yellow Dao Field, and defeated the challengers threatening the Palace’s remnants. He then traveled to the prosperous Primordial Yellow Dao Field, where he found Jiang Zai had become a rising prodigy and suspected the region was a stronghold of demonic cultivators.

• Jiang Zai's retainers entered Blood Phoenix Ridge, where hidden restrictions trapped them as beasts' blood awakened an Old Blood Phoenix from Nirvana.
• Qin Ming confronted the awakened Blood Phoenix despite the retainers' fear, challenged it to submit or return to its egg, and knocked it backward with one punch.
