Background / History

Eugenis is a rare Shoggoth variant regarded as the Ancient Ones' “pinnacle biological masterpiece.” He alone passed their Meat Mountain qualification trial during his youth and fused genetically with the Myriad Evil Eye, a top-tier Ancient Ones creation. Shoggoths were bred into servitude under the Old Kings, but Eugenis developed the ambition to break that condition and secure a future for his race. 1156 1868

During the London Game, Eugenis entered as the Fifth Prime with the Norse Witch twin bodies Ruth and Luna. When Ruth was killed in the Cloud round, he consumed her remains and transferred her essence to Luna, allowing the sisters to fuse into a stronger Morphic Worm body. He then corrupted the Cloud arena and transformed Silverware Artisan De into an imprisoned cluster of eyeballs, winning the round for his team. 1097 1098

He later brought Han Dong to Antarctica under the pretext of investigating the origin of Han Dong's head. The expedition was a trap: Eugenis intended to possess Han Dong's body, use its Gray Matter and Destiny connections, and escape Shoggoth servitude. Han Dong resisted and escaped, after which General Kiko investigated Eugenis for conspiring against an Emissary. Han Dong concealed Eugenis's crime by calling their battle a spar, preventing his punishment. 1144 1156 1177

Following this failure, Eugenis entered a highly restrictive Destiny experience through a Human Shell developed by the Ancient Ones. He endured ten years of war in the projected Homeric Epic and gained the acknowledgement of Achilles' Spear. His later London Game performance earned the Shoggoth Clan its freedom and earned Eugenis the first part of the Corpse Eater Rituals. 1422 1461 1654

Eugenis subsequently sought instruction from M.O., the former holder of the Grimoire, but grew dissatisfied with M.O.'s exploitative demands. He cooperated with a mysterious figure against M.O., later absorbed M.O.'s severed arms, and continued developing the Corpse Eater system through dangerous cultivation and expeditions with Han Dong and Pope. 1654 1657 1676 1861

In the Sleepless Great Tomb, Eugenis completed his breakthrough by killing and consuming M.O. himself. He converted M.O.'s body into the Heart of Plague, becoming a King and strengthening his claim as the Shoggoth Clan's future ruler. 2033

Appearance

Eugenis commonly presents as a foul-smelling man with messy dark-green hair, a withered or lean build, and an unnerving presence that makes observers feel watched by innumerable eyes. His human appearance is an imitation constructed through the seamless eyeballs covering his body. 1079 1097 1148
