Angel's mind sequentially conjured up Anne, the young girl with black hair and golden eyes; Katerina, the Unaging Demoness who crawled out of mirrors, her demeanor elegant yet carrying a hint of liveliness; and Reinette Tinekerr carrying her own four heads.
The cold gaze of the latter made her instantly stop her fantasies and look at Azik, who was pulling her and Klein while bringing along two marionettes to shuttle through the spirit world together.
Ever since he "encouraged" Angel to blow up a ship for a strange reason, Azik's expression had turned somewhat solemn, especially after entering the spirit world. Angel could sense that several of them were constantly moving forward, but it seemed as though they were walking in circles in the same spot, not leaving very far.
"Mr. Azik, are we returning to Grahame now?"
