Watching it slowly merge into the plate and form a vortex-shaped protrusion, she took a deep breath, picked up her engraving knife, and carved the symbol representing the power of "calamity" that she had discovered at Bansy Harbor.

Having made these charms several times at different Sequences, Angel engraved the intricate patterns with practiced ease. She used her spirituality to draw the dark red blood from a glass bottle drop by drop, filling the freshly carved grooves, then waited for it to cool and solidify naturally.

The process was almost identical to making her original "Calamity" charms and the upgraded version she had developed after advancing to Sequence 4, concentrating the power in her blood under Will Auceptin's guidance. The greatest difference was the fundamental change in the material bearing that power.

This is a Worm of Time left behind by an avatar of Amon, the Angel of Time and the Blasphemer. It possesses the status of a King of Angel.
