Lu Chengwen hung up the phone and smiled. "Senior Kidnapper, could I have a word with you?"

"Good news."

Once they stepped aside, Lu Chengwen's smile vanished instantly. He demanded in a low, furious voice, "Are you fucking sick? Why did you go after the Elder Council? And you even had me collect the money! Aren't you trying to get us killed?!"
Ming Disha chuckled. "I can't hide my identity for long. If they investigate even a little, they'll know it was me. You guys couldn't have stayed out of it anyway."
"Couldn't you have quietly taken care of that Cang Yue? Why make such a huge mess? How are we supposed to clean this up now?"
"You go wipe out the Elder Council. You become the Dean. You take control of the Four Great Families. You—"
