Background

Ming Disha was Hun Tiangang's second senior disciple and a former Yan Zhao Sect disciple. In his youth, he and Hun Tiangang fought over their junior sister, Pan Meifeng. Ming lost both the fight and Pan Meifeng to his senior brother, beginning a lifelong grudge that intensified into sabotage, framing, and open hostility. His crimes eventually provoked Old Man Wu and others into hunting him down, forcing him into hiding for ten years. 405 2496

After re-emerging, Ming Disha turned his attention to Hun Tiangang's disciples—Lu Chengwen, Long Aotian, and Zhao Ritian—whom he calls his martial nephews. He aggressively involved himself in their cultivation and personal affairs, including coercing Lu Chengwen to use Qi Meishao as a cauldron to break through his stalled realm. 410 412
