When Lu Chengwen woke up, he felt himself hanging in midair, wishing he were dead.
A bag covered his head, something gagged his mouth, his hands were tied up and suspended, and his feet were bound as well.
Lu Chengwen struggled with muffled whimpers a few times, but it was useless.
Tied up in this position, he simply couldn't gather his qi or use any martial arts.

Immortal Elder Nanji wore flowing robes and had the bearing of an immortal; the Fishing Elder wore a bamboo hat, his face blessed-looking and his smile genial.
The cloth gag was pulled from his mouth. Lu Chengwen looked at them. "Seniors, what is this? Isn't this a bit much?"
Immortal Elder Nanji said, "Cheng Wen, you did well. Very well. We appreciate you!"
"Yeah, yeah!" the Fishing Elder said. "We know you advanced, and your faces have changed back. We invited you here this time..."
Lu Chengwen widened his eyes and showed them his still-bound hands. "This is what you call inviting?"
