Background / History

Zhao Ritian descended from the mountain after being raised and taught by three master nuns. They considered his unusual True Qi and pure, straightforward temperament exceptional, but could no longer guide his cultivation once it reached a certain point; he needed experience and resources from the wider martial world. 274 787

His first venture went disastrously. Pan Meifeng defeated him and destroyed his cultivation after he challenged her authority. His masters later repaired his Dantian and Qi Sea, restoring his strength; the ordeal also awakened the potential of his exclusive inner art, Benevolent God's Return. 281 423 787

Upon returning to Xuecheng, Zhao became embroiled in the rivalry between Lu Chengwen and Long Aotian. Initially acting independently and attempting to use Xu Xuejiao in a staged rescue, he was subsequently forced to lead Chariot Heavenly King, Dare-to-Die Heavenly King, and Chu Bai while holding their antidotes. 440 441 442

His relationship with Lu Chengwen gradually shifted from hostility to volatile cooperation.
