Background / History

Wang Rui was originally a wage slave from another world. He died in a hit-and-run accident, remained beside his own body as a ghost, and could not answer a call from his sister, Wang Xiaohua. At the accident scene, he encountered the dying Three-Eyed Golden Lion, who had crossed worlds after her sacrifice and offered him her remaining right to choose her own fate. 1 2

After listening to and comforting the Auspicious Beast over her betrayal and loss, Wang Rui accepted her proposal. She transferred her fate to him and sent him fifteen thousand years into the past, where he was reborn as Star Dou Great Forest's Imperial Auspicious Beast. 1 2
