Uchiha Clan incident

Izumi opposed Uchiha Itachi during the Uchiha Clan crisis, rejecting Itachi's justification that his actions served the clan and village. Itachi killed Izumi shortly before Ōtsutsuki Isshiki's group appeared at the clan compound. 222

When time and space rewound three days, Izumi awakened with awareness that the world no longer followed the story timeline he knew.
