Elior Forest

Emilia was raised in Elior Forest by her aunt, whom she regarded as a mother, among a spirit tribe that treated her with special care despite her resemblance to the Witch of Envy. Even the Mite Spirits were unusually attached to her from childhood. 1697 1710

A century before the Royal Selection, the Witch Cult's radical faction attacked the forest and summoned the Black Serpent. Emilia witnessed her guardian's death; her nearly infinite Mana went berserk, creating a blizzard that froze Elior Forest and its inhabitants. 1697 1742

Emilia herself remained frozen for one hundred years. Puck later freed her from a frozen tree, though he could save only her; Emilia spent the following seven years protecting her still-frozen companions before Roswaal recruited her as a Royal Selection candidate. Royal Selection
