Background / History

Yan first appears at Angel International, where she warns Wei Zixue that Earth faces an invasion from the Styx Galaxy. When asked who she is, she identifies herself simply as an angel: Yan. 4

Wei Zitong's knowledge of her name immediately makes Yan suspicious. Her scan can retrieve his basic information—including name, family, height, and weight—but cannot access his past. Rather than force an answer, she playfully pressures him to reveal what he knows about angels and demons. 5

Yan has served as an angel for nearly 7,000 years. As a newly promoted and impulsive angel, she was once confined by Kaisha for one hundred years. She remains deeply loyal to Kaisha, though Kaisha later urges her to seek a future beyond endless service and to think for herself. 58 358

At Kaisha's direction, Yan returns to Earth with Zhui and Moy to preside over Wei Zixue's ascension. She makes Wei Zixue confront the cost of becoming an angel: abandoning an ordinary life to uphold the Justice Order, protect the weak, and eradicate evil even at the cost of her own life. 79
