Background and History

Tang Hao was regarded as the Clear Sky Sect's prospective next sect master. When the Blue Silver Emperor's identity as a Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beast became known, he openly declared her to be his wife and refused to abandon her, even at the cost of his inheritance and standing in the sect. He ultimately left the Clear Sky Sect with her, with Tang Xiao helping conceal their departure. 73 74

Spirit Hall pursued the pair for the Blue Silver Emperor. Tang Hao broke through a Spirit Hall blockade, captured Master Hu Ge as a hostage, and used him as leverage during the escape. He later remained behind to hold off Pope Qian Xunji, using the Great Sumeru Hammer and Ring Detonation despite being severely injured. 79 80 90

Mu Ge separated the Blue Silver Emperor from Tang Hao during their flight into the Star Dou Great Forest. Tang Hao was subsequently blamed for abducting Master Hu Ge, expelled by the Clear Sky Sect, and widely condemned for associating with soul beasts. He continued searching for Ah Yin, including returning to Blue Silver Canyon, but found no trace of her. 96 102 124

Personality

Tang Hao is fiercely devoted to Ah Yin. He is willing to surrender his succession to the Clear Sky Sect, face Spirit Hall's pursuit, and fight stronger opponents rather than allow harm to come to her. His concern also extends to their unborn child, whose condition he privately worries about. 73 87 90

He is decisive and pragmatic when protecting those he values. During the escape from Spirit Hall, he holds Mu Ge hostage and considers keeping him with Ah Yin as a potential bargaining chip, despite Mu Ge having earned some of his trust. 80 89

Tang Hao is also deeply suspicious and quick to anger, particularly where Ah Yin or Tang San are concerned. He coldly suspects Mu Ge of revealing their location, later suspects the Four Single Attribute Families of exposing Tang San's identity, and ultimately lets his hatred of Mu Ge drive him into a hopeless attack. 81 210 294
