Background

Calvin formerly served as a Knight Captain in the White Horse Kingdom's Border Guard Legion. He trained in the same period as Arthur Arevalo; the two were friends, rivals, and eventually enemies. Calvin believed Arthur's talent and family resources consistently eclipsed his own efforts, leaving him resentful of the Arevalo knight. 155 156
