Attack
The ocean of the Grand Line is mysterious, unpredictable, and ever-changing.
One moment the sun is shining brightly and the sky is clear, the next moment there is thunder and lightning, and a torrential downpour.
Sometimes steam rises from the ocean; that's from an underwater volcano erupting.
In some places, snowflakes were falling, and the water was freezing cold.
Huge whirlpools, towering waves, strange air currents, and powerful typhoons.
This is the Grand Line; the dangerous climate alone is enough to deter many people.
Fortunately, Baroque Works had a fairly experienced crew who had traveled this route many times before and were able to anticipate changes in the weather, so they did not encounter any dangers along the way.
Xia Qiu, on the other hand, followed leisurely behind.
Most marine disasters can be detected in Xia Qiu, and even if someone is caught in a whirlpool, they can leave safely.
The threat to Xia Qiu from the Grand Line lies more in the presence of stronger marine life.
And so, Xia Qiu followed the Baroque Works ' ship, swimming towards Alabasta.
Besides the turbulent ocean, Xia Qiu captured the magnetic pull of many islands.
The magnetic fields of these islands vary in strength and distance.
Most of these islands are located along a shipping route, and it may be possible to capture the time points of other islands along the route at certain points in the route.
The magnetic field changes are quite significant, and Xia Qiu records these changes in an attempt to understand the routes in the nearby sea area.
Then I can travel to and from this area. After I complete my plan, I can return to Whiskey Peak Town and devour all those bounty hunters.
Xia Qiu followed the ship, sailing into the distance. Occasionally, she would leave the ship, catch a fish, kill it, and then return to the ship.
When the ship was sailing against the wind, Xia Qiu would take a short nap in the Xia Qiu to relieve her fatigue before catching up.
The ships were not in a hurry to get to their destination. Sometimes, at night, when the weather was good and the current was in the right direction, they would lower both sails.
And so, a day and a night passed.
On the morning of the second day, Xia Qiu detected a huge magnetic force among several small magnetic forces around him. This magnetic force was relatively large compared to the magnetic force of the surrounding islands.
However, compared to route starting points like Whiskey Peak and Eagle Snake Island, the magnetic field wasn't much stronger.
To Xia Qiu's surprise, the island was enormous.
This island was dozens of times larger than Eagle Snake Island and Whiskey Peak, and the ship was sailing towards that island, following the direction of the magnetic force.
During the entire voyage, neither of the two ships went to any island to accumulate magnetic energy.
They only use Eternal Pose, and those pointers only point to that location.
Lodestar Island.
Barring any unforeseen circumstances, this island is Lodestar Island, the island where the Alabasta Kingdom is located.
We've finally arrived.
Xia Qiu looked at the outline of the huge island in the distance, her heart filled with excitement.
Now that we've found Lodestar Island, these people are no longer of any use.
Xia Qiu looked at the two ships in the distance and suddenly charged towards them.
"Missall Sunday, we're almost at Alabasta." On the ship, an Hundred Million Elder walked into the cabin and said to Robin, who was sitting there.
"Call me when you get to Alabasta."
Robin said softly, without looking at the other person.
"Yes." The Hundred Million Elder immediately left the cabin and closed the door behind him.
Inside the cabin, Robin sat at the table, reading a book by the light streaming through the small window.
She picked up the coffee cup from the corner of the table with her left hand, brought it to her lips, and took small sips.
The slender fingers of her right hand gently turned the pages.
boom.
But at that very moment, the ship shook violently.
The coffee sloshed around, spilling a lot of coffee and wetting Robin's clothes.
"What's going on?" Robin frowned, his thin eyebrows furrowing.
"It's leaking! The cabin is leaking!" A commotion arose outside.
"Is it leaking?"
Hearing the noise outside, Robin suddenly walked out of the cabin and onto the deck.
"Miss All Sunday, the ship is leaking!" a Hundred Million Elder shouted as he saw Robin.
"I see."
Robin suddenly closed his eyes and raised his hands.
Petals are falling.
The next moment, arms suddenly grew out of the cabin, on the deck, and on one side of the ship, with red and black eyes in the center of each palm.
These arms kept turning, looking around.
The deck is fine, the port cabin is leaking, and the starboard side is fine.
Port side... What's this?
boom.
Robin watched helplessly as a huge Black Fish crashed into the bottom of the boat underwater.
Click.
The wooden planks broke, and from inside the cabin, one could see a huge hole in the bottom of the ship, with seawater constantly pouring in.
Not only that, the keel of the ship broke, and a crack spread upwards along the hull.
"The keel is broken, the ship is going to sink."
Robin spread his arms, opened his eyes, and his eyes were filled with horror.
"What immense power."
It was terrifying that two blows were enough to sink the ship.
These boats were all built of sturdy wood, and just two impacts caused irreparable damage. The Black Fish was very strong, far exceeding the strength of other sea fish of the same size.
Moreover, that enormous ram was exactly as Mr. 2 Bon Clay had described.
If nothing unexpected happens, this Black Fish is the same Black Fish that attacked the Whiskey Peak Town fishing boat, Mr. 5, Miss Valentine, and the Mr. 2 Bon Clay.
But the question is, how did it end up attacking here?
The Black Fish's first two attacks targeted two fishing boats that had been dispatched, and both boats disappeared without a trace.
Next to be attacked were MR5 and Miss Valentine, followed by Mr. 2 Bon Clay and Gardino.
According to Mr. 2 Bon Clay's account, the Black Fish attacked them after they had sailed some distance out to sea.
But the approximate area is near Whiskey Peak.
It's at least 150 kilometers from Whiskey Peak to here, and he followed that path.
If he had followed him for a long time starting from Whiskey Peak Town, plus the previous four attacks, he would have attacked five members of the Baroque Works.
They even followed me here.
In addition, he waited until Mr. 2 Bon Clay was some distance away from Whiskey Peak Town before launching the attack. If Funcray hadn't used his habitat as his base of operations, he would have had to leave Whiskey Peak Town to follow him.
So after he attacked Mr. 2 Bon Clay, did he go back?
So why didn't he show up even after I stayed in Whiskey Peak Town for so long and sent a ship with bait to lure him?
Was it a coincidence? Did we just happen to run into each other on the way I left?
It happened in five or six days, just when I was leaving?
How could it be such a coincidence?
This Black Fish's behavior violated the basic rules of conduct for wild animals.
It's as if it possesses wisdom.
Robin suddenly felt a chill run down her spine and dared not think any further.
At that moment, she saw another ship approaching in the distance, intending to rescue her and the others, so she raised her hand.
The next moment, more than a dozen arms grew out of both ships, and each arm had a mouth in the palm of its hand.
"Attention everyone, activate the Harpoon Crossbow and prepare to attack the sea fish. Also, prepare to detonate the explosives."
Robin's voice came from his mouth and echoed across both ships.
At this point, rescue efforts would be futile, because if that Black Fish were truly intelligent, it would attack the ship and force them into the sea.
By then, his abilities would be useless, and he wouldn't even be able to use the weapons he had for dealing with sea fish.
Therefore, it is best to take advantage of the fact that a ship is still usable to launch an attack.
"Yes, MissallSunday."
These Hundred Million Elder were slightly taken aback when they saw the arm, but then realized Robin's idea and did as she suggested.
Meanwhile, Xia Qiu had already rushed towards another sea vessel.
