Ohara and Baroque Works

Robin survived the destruction of Ohara as a child and was framed for the destruction of six Marine warships, receiving a 79,000,000-Berry bounty at eight years old. Her pursuit of the Poneglyphs is tied to uncovering the Void Century and seeking revenge against the World Government. 116 129 140

After Baroque Works agents discovered her identity, Robin travelled through Drum Island to Alabasta and attempted to investigate its royal Poneglyph. Crocodile found her first and offered access to Poneglyphs in exchange for four years of service. She accepted the codename Miss All Sunday, becoming Baroque Works' Vice President, Crocodile's partner, and the organization’s Supreme Commander. 83

Captivity and the Deserted Island

While escaping Xia Qiu's attack on a Baroque Works fleet, Robin used her Hana Hana no Mi to row a small boat and resist him with giant limbs. Her physical strength could not sustain the effort; Xia Qiu destroyed the boat, leaving her helpless in the sea. 96

Xia Qiu spared her after recognizing her and brought her to a deserted island. Robin tested his self-awareness, language comprehension, and ability to reason before agreeing to remain with him for a period in exchange for eventual freedom. 97 98

After Xia Qiu killed Crocodile, Robin realized that no one besides her knew Mr. 0's identity. She chose to seize control of Baroque Works rather than depend on another protector, while Xia Qiu supported her against agents whose abilities countered hers. 115

The World Government blamed Robin for Crocodile's assassination, publicly exposed her as the Devil Child, and raised her bounty from 79,000,000 to 100,000,000 Berries. 116 Robin used Crocodile's supposed authority to command Baroque Works, ordered Mr. 2 Bon Clay to procure a submarine, and sought a way to obtain Alabasta’s Poneglyph without carrying out Crocodile’s destructive Utopia plan. 117
