Survival on a Deserted Island
At the Rain Dinners, Crocodile listened to the voice on the phone and coldly asked, "You said Miss All Sunday was killed by a Black Fish? Did you see it with your own eyes?"
"That's right. MissallSunday left in a small boat, was attacked by Black Fish, and fell into the sea. The Black Fish then left. We were quite far away and were on the rescue, so we didn't see it with our own eyes. But when we went to search afterwards, we couldn't find any trace of MissallSunday." A voice came from the other end of the phone.
"I see."
Crocodile put down the receiver, his expression gloomy. The fleet was attacked by Black Fish on the way back, and Robin also met with misfortune.
Although I didn't see it with my own eyes, she is Devil Fruit User, so how could she possibly survive falling into the sea?
He actually died like that.
Crocodile frowned; she was an indispensable part of his plan.
She is very capable; within a month of joining, she was able to handle all sorts of things.
More importantly, she knows the Poneglyph, which can help decipher the Poneglyph of Alabasta, and the Poneglyph contain information about Pluton and weapons that can destroy the world.
His ultimate goal is to control Pluton and dominate the world.
But now...
Crocodile was furious and wanted to fry and eat that Black Fish.
Robin entered the forest and began exploring the island. To survive, she needed sufficient freshwater resources, vegetables and fruits, and preferably red meat.
Needless to say, water is essential; without it, one's life would be in danger within three days.
As for vegetables and fruits, they can provide a rich source of vitamins, trace elements, protein, and more.
Red meat refers to pork, beef, lamb, venison, rabbit, etc., which are rich in minerals, especially iron, thiamine, riboflavin, phosphorus, etc.
You can avoid red meat, but the first two are essential.
If you can't find it, you'll just have to find another island. Anyway, that Black Fish won't let you go back.
Robin walked for a while, then suddenly closed his eyes, raised his hand, and shook it slightly.
The next moment, the petals fell.
Arms sprouted from the forest, on branches, trunks, and rocks—dozens of them, covering a vast area.
Robin's current limit is two hundred arms, which is enough for her needs.
On the palms of these arms are red and black eyeballs, scanning their surroundings.
"Safe. No large creatures or venomous snakes were detected within the detection area."
"There are signs of life: a rabbit, a wild boar, and a fawn have been found."
Robin walked forward step by step, with arms constantly growing out as he surveyed his surroundings.
The first thing to determine is the animals. It seems there's plenty of red meat, and with animals around, there's enough water and food.
"A leopard?"
Robin saw a leopard perched in a tree, and the next moment, the leopard pounced on his arm.
Bang, bang.
Several arms grew out from around the leopard, wrapped around it, and threw it off the tree.
"Snake?"
Robin spotted a snake that shot towards Robin hand, and Robin quickly defused the flower.
It seems we still need to be careful and vigilant.
Ordinary leopards and snakes are weak; Robin is confident she can handle them even without her Devil Fruit powers.
The problem is that they can launch surprise attacks, so we have to be careful.
Robin continued forward, dodging dangerous creatures, and if he couldn't avoid them, he would chase them away or kill them.
"Is it a monkey?"
Upon reaching the foot of the mountain, Robin discovered a group of monkeys moving about between the mountain and the trees nearby.
"What is that?"
Robin saw a monkey holding a bright red fruit in its hand, which was juicy and bursting with juice when bitten into, and it was happily eating it.
Although I can't identify what kind of fruit it is, it's edible, and its juice can replenish moisture.
Robin's hands caught the monkeys' attention, and they curiously pounced on Robin to touch them.
But the next moment, arms appeared around the monkeys, grabbing them and scratching their bodies.
"Chirp chirp".
Some of the monkeys were itchy and swayed back and forth, while others enjoyed being petted and had expressions of blissful contentment.
Snap.
All the arms vanished in an instant, and the monkeys looked around blankly, not knowing what had happened.
Instead of approaching the bottom of the mountain, Robin moved sideways to continue exploring, discovering more and more creatures and three or four strange fruits.
What is that?
Robin's eyes narrowed as he suddenly noticed a pool of water at the base of the mountain, nestled among the trees.
The rocks above the pool bear traces of water erosion, and at the end of the pool flows a stream into the distance.
Robin walked along the river and found animals drinking water on both sides of the river.
The river meandered and flowed to the other side of the island, directly opposite the place where I had landed.
"As long as there is water, that's fine."
Robin found a water source and was basically relieved.
Water, animals, and a few fruits are enough for him to survive, at least for the time being.
Robin didn't go over to look, but instead walked back the way he came. When he reached the shore, he found that the Black Fish had disappeared.
"Little Black, come out."
She shouted loudly, and with a whoosh, the sea rippled and grew larger until finally a huge black shadow rose up, looking at her expectantly.
"There's a pool at the foot of the mountain on the island with plenty of water, which should be drinkable. There are some wild animals in the jungle, enough to feed us. We haven't found any vegetables, but we have found some fruit, so we should be able to survive on this island for now," Robin said, sitting on the shore and looking at the Black Fish.
"Uh-huh."
Xia Qiu nodded. He was very happy, because this meant Robin could live here.
"Since survival is not a problem, we need to think about living for the time being. We can't make our living base here. Come with me."
This is not a good place; it's far from water, and many things are unavailable.
Robin has chosen a good spot, near the swamp.
"Well."
Xia Qiu nodded immediately and swam forward with Robin.
After swimming for a while, Robin suddenly leaped onto Xia Qiu's head and shouted, "Go around the island!"
"Good."
Xia Qiu immediately sped up and rushed forward, circling half of the island before Robin told him to stop.
"The water here is deep enough."
The water is shallower and has shoals to the east of the island.
However, the water depth is not small in either the south or the north.
After Xia Qiu stopped, Robin jumped ashore, closed his eyes, raised his hands, and looked around for the end of the stream.
She walked a distance and found a stream in the distance, but the stream did not lead to the ocean, but to a swamp.
This area could be used as a paddy field, but unfortunately there is no rice.
Robin shook his head and returned to the shore, letting Xia Qiu move forward a short distance to the right side of the swamp, where the woods were close to the coast in the sea. This place was close to the mountains, and you could see the hills rising high as you looked up.
The coastline here is quite steep, enough to survive in Xia Qiu, and the coastline is closer to the sea, with the lowest point only about 30 centimeters below the surface.
The distance in front of the coastline was also the location Robin chose for her habitat.
"Prepare accommodation first."
Robin took off his hat and placed it on a rock near the shore, his dark blue hair hanging down, making him quite eye-catching.
Then Robin took off her high-heeled boots, revealing her two fair feet. She placed the boots next to her hat, stretched, and walked away. After only a few steps, her feet got dirty.
What is she going to do?
Xia Qiu moved her body forward, stretched her neck, placed her head on the shore, turned to the side, and stared at Robin.
Many readers have suggested using tentacles to write. To explain, tentacles have very limited mobility. Lacking bones, they rely on muscle contractions for movement, resulting in poor control. The longer the tentacles, the weaker the control and support at their ends. When I described tentacles earlier, I showed them springing open and then retracting, then controlling the tentacles to entangle and capture enemies. If they were to surface to attack, they would only be able to whip. No other movements are possible. Therefore, suggestions to write or wrap weapons are simply not feasible.
Without bones, and with its long tentacles, Xia Qiu couldn't support itself at all. Whether moving forward or backward, it was all about the contraction and relaxation of the muscles in its wrists and feet.
To write, the tendrils would dip into the seawater and rest on the shore. Then, they could only roll up the remaining part or continuously contract and release, similar to wriggling.
Even fighting with entangled weapons is difficult to achieve.
