Ang pointed at the densely packed red crosses on the map and spoke in a calm yet meaningful tone. "These marked places are the territories left behind by those nobles who fled during the Demon invasion."
"What's wrong with their territories?" Dana asked in confusion.
"There's nothing wrong with the territories. The problem is the people." Ang's gaze swept over everyone, his voice low and firm.
"When they were needed most, those nobles chose to run. They abandoned their land, and they abandoned their people."
The air fell silent for several seconds.
Quintina suddenly covered her mouth and laughed. Half-jokingly, she said, "You're not planning to... claim all those nobles' territories for yourself, are you?"
Ang raised an eyebrow at her, looking as though he were saying, You're so clever, and did not deny it.
