Ross leaned forward slightly and whispered in Robin's ear:
"Look at those people celebrating beside the corpses."
"Look at Shirahoshi, standing atop a mountain of corpses and a sea of blood, accepting the worship of the masses."
"This is the tyranny you speak of."

"Those people are cheering sincerely."
"They are genuinely grateful to Shirahoshi and Otohime."
"Because..."
"They truly made this world a better place."
Robin bit her lip tightly, tears welling in her eyes.
She looked at the plaza below, at the cheering crowds, at the execution ground awash in blood, and her breathing grew more rapid.
She wanted to refute him.
She wanted to resist.
But there was nothing she could do.
She could not resist Ross.
Whether Ross was right or wrong, without strength, she could do nothing.
This was the lesson she had understood most deeply after spending so long by Ross's side.

Ross teased her with a smile. In that regard, Robin was very much like Olvia. Both were rare, exceptional women.
