Xiao Cang was a renowned prodigy of the Xiao Family long before his return to Wutan City. He condensed a Qi Vortex and became a Dou Practitioner after four years of cultivation, then earned Rank 1 Alchemist certification after another year. Xiao Yan grew up following him and was repeatedly compared unfavorably to him by other Xiao Family disciples. 21

At eighteen, Xiao Cang married Yun Yun and refined the Myriad Beast Spirit Flame during their wedding night, becoming a Dou King. The breakthrough made him the youngest Dou King in Jia Ma Empire history and immediately alarmed the royal family, which feared the growing strength of the Misty Cloud Sect. 4
