Chapter Summaries

S.H.I.E.L.D. attacked Lorelei’s bar, but she escaped after using her power to enthrall Ward. Ward drove her away on his motorcycle, leaving Coulson and Sif behind.

• Lorelei sent her bewitched followers outside to fight the police and S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, while Sif shoved a van into place to shield Coulson’s team.
• Coulson ordered Sif to capture Lorelei and Ward to circle around the bar as the agents fought back.
• Sif fought Lorelei’s armed followers inside the bar, knocking them unconscious, but Lorelei escaped.
• Ward defeated Rooster at the back entrance, unaware Lorelei had watched the fight from above.
