Background / History
Chihiro Ji adopted Qian Chengxiao and Bibi Dong shortly before taking them to obtain Soul Rings. He accepted Chengxiao after seeing the boy awaken his exceptional martial soul while protecting Bibi Dong; Qian Daoliu, Chihiro Ji's father, became Chengxiao's teacher 5 9.
In the previous timeline, Chihiro Ji drugged Chengxiao and Bibi Dong to prevent her from leaving with Yu Xiaogang, making Chengxiao the “Secret Room Douluo.” Bibi Dong later killed Chihiro Ji in revenge. After rebirth, she comes to regret how she treated both him and Chengxiao 7 9 115.
Personality
Chihiro Ji is protective but often overbearing with his adopted son and disciple. Convinced that Chengxiao and Bibi Dong belong together, he pressures Chengxiao to reconcile with her and threatens to break his legs. When Chengxiao repeats the threat to Qian Daoliu, Chihiro Ji is beaten by his own father 9 10 13.
He also sees the pair's talents—and the potential of their future children—as important to Spirit Hall's strength. He takes pride in their Soul Ring achievements, though his concern for them extends beyond their usefulness: he worries about Bibi Dong's safety at the Haotian Sect and is visibly moved when the grown Chengxiao finally visits him 9 18 23 78 192.

- Soul Ring expedition — Accompanies Chengxiao and Bibi Dong to the Star Dou Great Forest. He helps locate a suitable spider soul beast for Bibi Dong and witnesses Chengxiao absorb a ten-thousand-year ring as his second Soul Ring 18 22 23.
- Bibi Dong's trip to the Haotian Sect — Warns her that Spirit Hall's peace with the Upper Three Sects is only superficial. He eventually agrees to the visit under an escort plan, but remains behind because of his duties as Pope 78.
- Qian Renxue's arrival — Learns that Bibi Dong and Chengxiao have a daughter. Delighted to meet the child he calls his granddaughter, he discovers her innate level-20 Soul Power and discusses her twin martial souls with Bibi Dong 114 115.
- Chengxiao's return — Reunites with his adopted son, who brings Immortal Herbs intended to improve Chihiro Ji's and Qian Daoliu's physiques and potential. Chengxiao proposes that Chihiro Ji inherit the Angel Godhood; Chihiro Ji had intended to leave it to Qian Renxue 192.
- Spirit Hall Academy — Personally brings Jiang Chen and Bibi Dong to the academy after announcing them as Spirit Hall's Saint Child and Saintess, and arranges protection for them there 235.
