Xu Jie established an academy in Shandou City, then used his identity as the Holy Spirit Cult’s Holy Son to draw out Evil Soul Masters while training Dai Luoli. Their pursuit brought Xu Jie into conflict with Ye Xishui, and he and Huo Yuhao evacuated the Proud Sword Sect through the Gate of the Undead before escaping into the Undead Demigod Plane.

• Xu Jie treated Dugu Lu’s poison defect, earned the Dugu Family’s support, and opened Shandou City Second Soul Master Academy for six children.
• Xu Jie stayed in Shandou City despite the worsening war, then left to investigate Evil Soul Masters and gathered intelligence from Dai Hao.
• Xu Jie took Dai Luoli under his care, awakened his Blood Tiger Martial Soul while using him as bait, and trained him as Huo Yuhao’s future disciple.
• Xu Jie and Dai Luoli encountered groups of Evil Soul Masters, and a Soul Sage used a golden token that engulfed Xu Jie in dark-red light.
• Ye Xishui attacked Xu Jie, but he escaped her spire, sent Dai Luoli through the Gate of the Undead, and fled toward the South Sea as Huo Yuhao arrived.
• Xu Jie and Huo Yuhao diverted Ye Xishui from Jiannan City, and Xu Jie raised a barrier while Huo Yuhao persuaded the Proud Sword Sect to evacuate.
• Xu Jie and Huo Yuhao led the Proud Sword Sect through the Gate of the Undead and entered the Undead Demigod Plane as Ye Xishui withdrew and Star Luo Empire forces found Jiannan City intact.

Xu Jie established Canghui Academy, confronted the Profound Nether Sect’s abuses, and helped expand the Soul Contract System in the Extreme North. Huo Yuhao reunited with Ju Zi during his infiltration of her legion, and after their encounter Xu Jie pressed him to consider the consequences of their relationship.

• Xu Jie and Huo Yuhao parted from Dai Luoli, helped the Body Sect relocate, and settled its members near Shandou City.
• Xu Jie renamed the academy Canghui Academy, organized its students and staff, and opened it as the Sun Moon Empire took territory from its neighbors.
• Xu Jie, Huo Yuhao, and Ji Juechen uncovered the Profound Nether Sect’s abuse of women, killed its leader, and helped the surviving victims choose their fate.
• Xu Jie and Huo Yuhao examined Dugu Lu’s new soul ring, then returned to Canghui Academy and enrolled children regardless of their Soul Power.
• Xu Jie left Huo Yuhao near the Fire Phoenix Soul Engineer Legion and traveled to the Extreme North Land, where Snow Maiden named A'Tai her successor and Xu Jie explained the Soul Contract System.
• Huo Yuhao infiltrated the legion and escaped with Ju Zi, while Xu Jie and the soul beasts followed them from a distance.
• Ju Zi drugged Huo Yuhao and tried to use a Soul Tool on him, but Xu Jie intervened and Little White took away Ju Zi’s equipment.
• Xu Jie had Huo Yuhao’s memories restored, told him Ju Zi had safely returned to camp, and urged him to consider their possible child as Huo Yuhao grew firm in his resolve.

Xu Jie and Huo Yuhao rescued Ju Zi and Earth Dragon Sect captives, then Xu Jie gained new power through the sacrifices of Niu Tian and Titan while Huo Yuhao restored Tang Wutong. The group moved on to the Star Luo Empire, where Huo Yuhao confronted his family and killed Zhu Ying for Huo Yun’er’s death.

• Xu Jie impersonated a Sun Moon imperial descendant to abduct Ju Zi, then Huo Yuhao brought her to the Extreme North Land and they agreed to seek Earth Dragon Sect’s ice treasure in exchange for rescuing its captives.
• Huo Yuhao recovered Ice Extreme Divine Crystal and Profound Ice Marrow from Earth Dragon Sect’s hidden cave, then he and Xu Jie infiltrated Dio Academy and sent its captives to the Undead Demigod Plane.
• Long Xiaoyao gave Xu Jie the Dragon Pellet, which merged with his Fire Dragon King bloodline and helped him contain the Snow Core’s power.
• Xu Jie and Huo Yuhao took Ju Zi to Canghui Academy, where she became its dean and organized Xu Jie’s ideas about teaching commoners to cultivate Soul Power.
• Xu Jie and Huo Yuhao went to Clear Sky Sect, where Xu Jie revealed Tang Wutong’s other soul half and summoned Di Tian and the fierce beasts to defeat Niu Tian and Titan.
• Huo Yuhao restored Tang Wutong’s soul, and Niu Tian and Titan sacrificed themselves to Xu Jie, raising his cultivation to Rank 90 as the Clear Sky Sect entered the Undead Demigod Plane.
• Huo Yuhao and Xu Jie brought Ju Zi to Duke White Tiger’s Mansion, where Huo Yuhao rejected Dai Hao and killed Zhu Ying after she admitted she had been wrong about Huo Yun’er.

Xu Jie and Huo Yuhao gathered allies and built Canghui Academy’s Soul Tool production while preparing to unite the continent under Ju Zi. They traveled to the Ice Sea, fought the Sea Princess, and learned that Evil Soul Masters had betrayed her people before entering the Coral Palace to try to save her dying daughter.

• Huo Yuhao and Xu Jie returned from their revenge against Zhu Ying and Duke White Tiger, and Ju Zi revealed she was carrying Huo Yuhao’s child as the group planned to overthrow the nobility and unite the continent.
• Ju Zi coordinated Canghui Academy’s alliances and weapons trade, while the academy recruited Soul Engineers, organized assembly lines, and expanded Shandou City.
• Dai Luoli and Luoxin came to Canghui Academy, where Huo Yuhao and Xu Jie welcomed Luoxin and thanked her for secretly helping Huo Yun’er and Huo Yuhao in the past.
• Xu Jie and Huo Yuhao left for the Ice Sea to seek Huo Yuhao’s eighth soul ring and invite the Sea Princesses into the Soul Beast Alliance.
• The Sea Princess attacked Xu Jie and Huo Yuhao, but Huo Yuhao broke her spiritual restraints and Xu Jie used the Rakshasa Demonic Scythe to shatter her Trident Mark.
• Xu Jie forced the Sea Princess into the Completely Unequal Soul Contract, and Huo Yuhao absorbed the Heart of the Ocean and a blue-gold soul ring, reaching level eighty-three.
• The Sea Princess revealed that humans had promised her clansmen a new life through Soul Spirits, but most had instead become Resentful Spirits.
• The Sea Princess led Xu Jie and Huo Yuhao to the Coral Palace, where they went to see her dying younger daughter.
