Background & History

Audrey is the golden-haired, blue-eyed daughter of Earl Hall, raised within Backlund’s nobility. Her wealth, education, and social standing initially shelter her from the supernatural world, though they also give her access to information, political developments, and expensive Beyonder materials. 18 27 508

She is among the Tarot Club’s earliest members, taking the codename Justice. As a Spectator, she is curious, observant, and eager to advance; she seeks the Psychology Alchemists and the Mind Reader formula soon after joining the gathering. 7 17 26

Audrey’s early innocence is challenged by the Law of Conservation of Extraordinary Traits, the Great Smog of Backlund, and revelations about the lower class and the Churches’ political influence. Rather than withdrawing, she resolves to become stronger so she can protect her family and act according to her own conscience. 42 75 149 574

She formally joins the Psychology Alchemists, later becoming the council member Arrogance after Hervin Lambeth’s death. She eventually joins the Aurora Order, becomes an Angel under Grischa Adam, and rises to Pontiff, pursuing reforms to the noble system and a “Great Harmony Society.” 149 703 722

Appearance

Audrey is a young noblewoman with golden-blonde hair and blue eyes. Her appearance, poise, and upbringing make her a conspicuous figure in Backlund high society. 149

Personality

Audrey begins as cheerful, curious, wealthy, and noticeably inexperienced with the supernatural world. She is enthusiastic about mysteries and adventure, but her interest is tempered as she learns the cruelty of Beyonder society and the dangers of uncontrolled advancement. 18 42 79

She is empathetic and conscientious, particularly toward ordinary people harmed by supernatural conflicts. The Great Smog, Duke Negan’s death, and Alice’s increasingly detached view of human life all strengthen Audrey’s determination not to become cold or indifferent. 148 181 192

As she matures, Audrey becomes cautious, analytical, and capable of handling psychological crises. She is willing to confront fear when necessary, but she also knows when to prioritize safety and long-term planning over reckless curiosity. 381 382 383
