Mo Lingna was originally an ordinary islander of Sea God Island. Seeking to see the outside world, she secretly sailed away alone, only for a storm and tsunami to capsize her boat. Tie Zhan rescued her and brought her to the Myriad Beast Sect, where she began cultivating. 450 451

Her talent and relentless training earned the attention of Myriad Beast Sect Master Tie Shan, who accepted her as a true disciple. When she sought the sect's supreme technique, the Nine Beast Forbidden Canon, Tie Shan agreed only if she married his son, Tie Zhan. Mo Lingna accepted the engagement, obtained the scripture as a betrothal gift, and fled back to Sea God Island the following day. 451
