Nature and Origin

Martial Souls are understood in the Soul Master World through the bloodline theory: bloodline is the root, while the Martial Soul is its manifestation. The purity, age, and grade of a bloodline generally determine a Martial Soul's quality and potential. 1

A Martial Soul's quality directly affects the quality of its wielder's Soul Power. Higher-quality Soul Power tempers the body more effectively during cultivation, giving high-grade Martial Soul Masters an inherent advantage over ordinary Soul Masters. 7

Cultivation and Soul Rings

Soul Masters cultivate by guiding Soul Power through their meridians and acupoints in complete bodily cycles. This process strengthens the physique, while Soul Rings strengthen the Martial Soul itself. 7

Absorbing a Soul Ring is fundamentally the absorption and refinement of a Soul Beast's bloodline. Compatible Soul Rings strengthen the Martial Soul's origin, improve the master's bloodline, and can promote evolution toward a higher life level. 1 8
