Huo Yuhao entered Shrek Academy through Tang Ya’s help after joining the Tang Sect. Initially described as a frail, ordinary-looking boy, he stood out more for the determination and vigilance in his eyes than for his cultivation. His academy file lists his mother as the deceased Huo Yun’er, whose Moth Martial Soul had no Soul Power; it also identifies him as a suspected house-born child of Duke White Tiger’s Mansion, with his father unknown. 152 156

Tang Ya introduced him to Zhu Ziyang and Jiang Nannan as the Tang Sect’s third member. Zhu Ziyang immediately recognized the Spirit Eye as a Body Martial Soul and, believing Yuhao was the Child of Fortune from his memories, agreed to guide his cultivation. This advice gave Huo Yuhao renewed confidence in the possibility of a Second Awakening. 153 154
