Background / History

Cai Lin was the Medusa Queen of the Snake-People Tribe. She was believed to have died after traveling alone to Stone Desert City to seize the Azure Lotus Core Flame, where the Gamma Empire ambushed her. In reality, her self-destruction concealed the escape of a remnant soul, which entered Nalan Ye's mind and was subdued by him 101 133.

As a soul body, Cai Lin sought a physical body and the strength to escape her dependence on Nalan Ye. She infiltrated the Heavenly Flame Training Gas Tower, used a captive as bait to draw out Fallen Heart Flame, and attempted to use the flame and the Yin-Yang Mysterious Dragon Pill's power to restore herself and break through 245 246. Despite interference from the Flame Lizard Tribe and pursuit by Su Qian, she evolved into a Seven-Colored Heaven Swallowing Python during her tribulation 247 253.

After returning to the Snake-People Tribe, Cai Lin learned that Ashes Queen had passed away in meditation. She paid respects to the former queen and chose to fuse the Seven-Colored Heaven Swallowing Python's soul with her own using a Soul Fusion Pill 299 300.
