The Aberrant Entropy Walkers lingered on the home planet for many days. While the Empire Fleet busied itself constructing the various auxiliary facilities for the Activation Terminal, they never left, and their numbers kept slowly increasing. Though the rate of increase eventually slowed to the point where only one or two Aberrant Entropy Walkers might arrive for the "gathering" in an entire day, they were indeed still converging.
Using her innate power, Ding Dang communicated many times with these peculiar information-virtual-spirit tripartite hybrid creatures. They were not actually called that, but I honestly had no idea how else to describe them. Although the Aberrant Entropy Walkers did not even possess their own language system, nor any organs for communicating with other creatures, they could still speak with the guardian of life. Ding Dang thus learned their habits: they lived in the distant depths of space, hundreds of light-years from here. They normally sustained their forms by relying on free-floating energy in space, but had to consume "information" in order to reproduce or grow larger. That was why they could survive in this stagnant universe while looking so much like spirit creatures.
The Aberrant Entropy Walkers were very weak to us. Before Imperial Soldiers, they did not even possess any offensive power. But to most ordinary races, these creatures were probably bizarre and dangerous, because they were born able to consume information. They could even devour a race's "knowledge" and "history." Though the process was extremely slow, ordinary races had no way to defend against it. They were practically mythical creatures by nature. So Ding Dang wrote a set of life-form correction codes for them, making the Aberrant Entropy Walkers safer, or at least preventing them from casually harming the outside environment—the Homeland World would soon be connected to the Empire
