Background / History

Seraphim had followed God since Heaven's beginning, defending him and confronting those who challenged his authority. He appeared alongside the Four Great Monarchs—Michael, Gabriel, Raphael, and Uriel—during David's assault on Heaven 536 538 539.

When a black rain began transforming angels into monsters, Seraphim warned the others. He then placed himself between David's enlarged Black Death Sword and God. The blow sent him through a floating island, but he returned to intercept David again 538.

Seraphim set himself ablaze with divine fire, igniting David's black torrent and engulfing him in golden flames. After expending his strength, Seraphim's body dissolved into specks of light, and the lower-ranking angels mourned him 539. He was later resurrected in a Magic Circle fueled by Heaven's Power of Faith. Jesus explained that angels could be restored from origin imprints left behind beforehand; Seraphim bowed to him and led the other revived angels away 543.

  • Heads — Each bears a solemn expression, and all four sing God's praises in unison 536.
