A boundless sea lay shrouded in mist, its deep waves heaving as though the entire world trembled with them.
Ooooh!
A low roar rose, and the mist rolled. A colossal monster flew through the sky toward them, its pitch-black form and massive body bringing an incomparably crushing pressure.
The mist parted as the giant beast drew near, revealing its savage head, as if it would devour everything.
But then the beast revealed its true form!
It was no giant beast at all, but an enormous black warship sailing through the sky beneath spread sails. The ferocious beast head at its prow looked like a real monstrous creature.
Black crossbows lined the sides of the dark flying ship, their bow-wings spread wide, their metal arrowheads exuding a chilling killing intent.
Many martial artists in sword robes stood upon the deck, swords on their backs, their belts fluttering with heroic grace.
Several people stood atop the ship's superstructure. At their head was a tall, dark-faced martial artist draped in a black cloak. His thick brows were knitted together as he studied a compass in his hand.
This man was Chu Shan, the deacon who had previously intended to personally lead the team to the Red Rock Region.
Chu Shan's expression was grim. They had lost their way at sea, circling for days without passing through the mist.
"This damned mist is such a nuisance. We've been going in circles for days. Why didn't the sect destroy this great array back then?"
A Heavenly Human Realm martial artist complained.
Chu Shan shot him a glare, then looked back at the compass. "You think the sect did not want to? Back then, even a Void Glimpse Great Power could not damage the great array in the slightest and was instead devoured by its rules.
