Background / History

Ning Rongrong is Ning Fengzhi's daughter and the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect's “little princess.” Following her Martial Soul awakening, Ning Fengzhi, Sword Douluo, and Bone Douluo praise her as the sect's greatest talent. Her Innate Soul Power is Rank 9, and she vows to work hard enough to surpass the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda's inherited limitations. 2

As a six-year-old, Rongrong begins frequently visiting Li Xun to play. Though mischievous, clever, and accustomed to being pampered, she is not portrayed as malicious or truly unruly. Li Xun challenges her dependence on Sword Douluo and Bone Douluo, persuading her to cultivate seriously so that she can support others rather than be protected forever. 6

She accompanies Li Xun to Heaven Dou Royal Academy at age eight. The academy identifies her as a Level 17 support-type Soul Master with the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda, and Qin Ming considers her capable of serving as a regular team member in the future Soul Master Competition. 12 17

Rongrong is playful, curious, expressive, and prone to acting spoiled around people she trusts. As a child, she repeatedly tries to evade cultivation, lessons, and training; nevertheless, she responds to Li Xun's guidance and gradually becomes more diligent. 6 7 18
