Rocks wasn't the only one who returned; Charlotte Linlin and Kaido, unseen for a while, came back with him.
It had to be said, Linlin in her youth was a truly outstanding beauty. Plump, alluring, and captivatingly bright, though perhaps a bit too tall. A beauty approaching nine meters was rather excessive.
But it didn't matter; the world wasn't lacking in brave warriors like Gaban.
Kaido, too, was very young in his youth. His long legs hadn't yet become the stubby ones they would be, and a mustache was already starting to grow on his upper lip. Combined with his naturally aged face, he didn't look like a twenty-one-year-old at all.
"Mama mama! Little Roa! Come here, sweet child."
Charlotte Linlin waved at Roa, her face unusually gentle.
Roa knew that Aunt Linlin sometimes entered a special state when encountering children under ten, showing them extraordinary tenderness.
But unfortunately, she wasn't like that towards him.
Roa's small face broke into a brilliant smile as he playfully moved closer. "Aunt Linlin is as beautiful as ever."
"Mama mama! You're such a sweet-talker!"
Linlin giggled coquently.
Kaido grunted unhappily. "Are you just going to ignore me, kid?"
"So, Big Brother Kaido,"
Roa asked with a hint of mischief, "Did you clash with Roger this time?"
Roger Pirates was currently the only pirate crew that could somewhat contend with the Rocks Pirates, and Roger was naturally the Rocks Pirates' strongest enemy.
Not just the uncles, but Kaido was also fixated on that man.
"Hmph,"
The hot-blooded young Teacher Kaido snorted. "Roger is nothing special! I'm not afraid of him!"
"Don't listen to this guy bragging,"
Charlotte Linlin scooped Roa up and placed him on her shoulder, smiling. "The moment the battle started, he went straight for Roger and was almost cleaved to death by that guy's counter-attack, Divine Departure."
"As expected of Big Brother Kaido!"
Roa gave his big brother a thumbs-up. "You don't dodge Divine Departure, you're more awesome than a god!"
"Hmph!"
Young Teacher Kaido turned his head away unhappily, letting out another cold snort.
"So what was the final result?" Roa was very curious. Although he knew Roger couldn't possibly lose here, who knew if there might be a butterfly effect?
"Roger managed to escape again."
Linlin was also a little indignant. "That guy is already so strong that even Rocks can't do anything about him. Rayleigh and Gaban are also ridiculously strong."
"Even though we brought Wang Zhi and the others, Newgate and Shiki weren't there, so we couldn't do anything about them."
Roa nodded in understanding.
While not comparable to the all-star lineup of the Rocks Pirates, the Roger Pirates also had a three-core leadership. It wouldn't be easy for the Rocks Pirates to defeat them without going all out.
"Then,"
Roa looked at Whitebeard, who was bleeding from his head, "What's going on with Uncle Newgate?"
"Just the thing,"
Charlotte Linlin turned her head to look at Whitebeard and Stussy. "Don't just stand there. Rocks wants a meeting."
And so, a while later, in a spacious conference room inside the skull building.
The executives of the Rocks Pirates gathered.
Golden Lion and Aunt Gloriosa were already there.
Besides them, there was a burly man in armor, a thin middle-aged man wearing a top hat, and a drunkard guzzling from a wine bottle.
They were the other top executives: Silver Axe, Wang Zhi, and Captain John.
With the addition of Roa and the others who arrived later, all the executives were present.
"Yo, Little Roa, you've grown taller again in just a few days."
As the most popular member of the Rocks Pirates, the executives greeted Roa one after another.
The seven-year-old child, most polite on Beehive Island, responded with a smile.
Being of normal human size, Roa naturally sat next to Golden Lion and asked curiously, "What's going on? Why did the captain fight Uncle Newgate? And what's the meeting about?"
"Because my treasure was stolen!"
A man strode into the conference room, his voice deep.
The man wasn't particularly tall, but he was a head taller than the average person. His face wasn't handsome, and the hair at the back of his head was messy, as if it hadn't been washed in a long time.
Overall, he was unremarkable, yet he exuded an aura of overwhelming power.
The conference room instantly fell silent.
"Captain!"
The good child Roa raised his right hand high as he spoke, "What treasure are you talking about?"
"You don't need to know, kid."
The man's name was Rocks D. Xebec, captain of the Rocks Pirates, the uncrowned king of the New World.
He appeared quite impatient, slamming his hand on the table and glaring at Whitebeard, "Newgate, you idiot, I told you to intercept, and you still let them steal it!"
"You bastard didn't tell me someone would come to steal it beforehand! How was I supposed to know there'd be an accident?"
Whitebeard retorted, "I've already taken a few punches from you, bastard. What more do you want?"
"I really want to kill you, you idiot!"
Rocks was so angry that Haki crackled around him like lightning, and cracks quickly began to appear on the walls and table.
"I support this!"
Shiki, fearing no chaos, chimed in, "Kekekekeke, it doesn't matter if we're one Newgate short."
"Alright,"
Gloriosa patted the table and said gently, "Infighting is meaningless. Captain, what exactly is this treasure you're talking about?"
"You don't need to know for now,"
Rocks said, "In any case, activate all our intelligence sources. I'm going to get that thing back!"
Roa pondered.
In the original story, the Rocks Pirates appeared at God Valley because something of theirs was stolen.
Was it this so-called treasure?
What could it be? The Azure Dragon Fruit? Or some other unknown treasure?
The smile on Roa's face widened.
The God Valley battle was truly about to begin.
"Also,"
Rocks added, "I'm going to Elbaf next. The giants need to make their choice."
"Elbaf?"
Aunt Linlin's eyes lit up, "I want to go too!"
"Why are you getting involved, you idiot?"
Rocks berated him without hesitation, "Don't you know your reputation among the giants?"
"Newgate,"
He looked at Whitebeard, "You bastard are coming with me."
"Hmph, I don't care."
Whitebeard snorted.
"So, Rocks,"
Brother Kaido said excitedly, "We're going to win over the giants. Is the war against the World Government finally starting?"
Rocks's lips curled upwards, "That's right! Rejoice, you scum, our goal is very close!"
The reason the monsters of the Rocks Pirates gathered was to prepare for a big operation together.
"Ugh-huh-huh-huh! How exciting!"
"Kekekekeke!"
"Kukukukuku!"
"M-mama-mama-mama!"
Loud laughter erupted.
Roa felt a little inferior; his laughter was too normal, out of place among these people.
Pulling himself together, Roa raised his hand high again, "Captain, I want to go to Elbaf too!"
Rocks glanced at Roa, then smirked, "Alright, your abilities, kid, can be of great use in Elbaf!"
